GOTE reserves the right to modify the data published in our catalog and website (consumptions, dimensions,...) without prior notice, due to changes in the derived products for any type of cause. The technical sheets on the website have updated information at the latest level, invalidating previous versions.

In some cases, the published photographs show the product with accessories, as long as it is another reference, these accessories are not included and must be ordered separately.

Considerations

GOTE S.A. sales will be governed by the rules described in this GOTE S.A. sales conditions sheet. In case of exception, both parties will agree upon the stipulated conditions prior to the sale, leaving all details about them in writing.

The conditions of sale of GOTE S.A. are considered to be accepted. from the moment in which clients register, accepting with said signature the conditions of GOTE S.A.

Supply conditions

  1. The buyer must issue a purchase order in which the products they wish to purchase are specified without any doubt along with their delivery address.
  2. The characteristics of the products communicated in the product sheets, website, catalogues,…. Such as weights, dimensions, technical specifications,... are merely indicative and non-binding, with the exception of special requirements for closed projects, which will be left in writing at the time of the sale request and the subsequent quote issued by GOTE S.A.
  3. The delivery time is considered to be the transportation method and time agreed upon when closing the order (see point 3 for rates).
  4. Delivery times will be agreed upon by both parties, at no cost to GOTE S.A. non-compliance with them unless prior signing of a special contract for said operation or project
  5. Any change in the agreed delivery date due to any factor attributed to the client will not be considered a delay. These causes can be very varied, so we cite some examples: change in the order, modification of materials, delay in presenting any extra necessary documentation, etc.
  6. GOTE S.A. will not be responsible or liable for any delay in the delivery date that is the responsibility of the agency or directly of the client or person in charge of receiving the shipment.
  7. It is the client's obligation to inspect all the material sent, including requesting the presence of the driver of the agency that manages the delivery. You will have 24 hours to make the corresponding claim in which the damage caused to the merchandise due to shipping will be indicated. After this period, it is the client who will be responsible for or assume said damages caused by the transportation of the merchandise. This point includes both delays in the delivery of the material.

The maximum limit to make a return will be 30 days, once this period has passed no return will be accepted. In any case, within the stipulated period the material must be in perfect condition, unused and with the packaging in perfect condition.  If you do not comply with the aforementioned points, no refund will be made.

Returns of materials manufactured expressly for projects will not be accepted.

Shipping costs resulting from the return will always be borne by the customer and GOTE S.A. reserves the right to inspect the merchandise at its facilities before proceeding to issue the corresponding credit.

Rates

  1. The prices delivered may be NET prices or RRP (pending application of the agreed discounts) without VAT or any other tax, such as the Ecotax. After the sale, these extra sales taxes unrelated to GOTE S.A. can be consulted. on the invoice. By prior request it is also possible to know the amount of said taxes. Shipping charges incurred for the shipment of merchandise are also exempt from offers, except in the following cases:
  2. The validity of the offers is one month from the date of the same, and there may be price modifications in products where the raw material is copper, as well as discontinuation without prior factory notice, without subtracting the period of acceptance of the offer from the delivery of the products.
  3. The prices indicated in the offer are for the usual payment methods, the payment method will be agreed in writing when a client opens their account at GOTE S.A.
  4. After acceptance of an order, prices will not be modified, except in a situation agreed upon between the seller and the buyer or for any reason attributable to the buyer or set forth in section b.
  5. The exchange of information will be considered private between both parties, not revealing any type of data to third parties and the use of the information for any other purpose is not permitted.

Payment methods

The payment methods are established when the client opens an account at GOTE S.A.

These conditions can always be agreed upon by both parties and will not be valid for orders already served and pending payment.

Guarantee

GOTE S.A undertakes to comply with the legally established terms during the warranty period for defects in materials or manufacturing in its products, which begins with the date of delivery of the material. This period covers between 2 and 3 years depending on the type of product. For more information about the warranty period, consult the item sheet in this catalog or on our website.

The client or buyer is obliged to comply without exception with the conditions detailed herein. The warranty will be void if the product is not used under normal conditions determined by GOTE S.A.

Any product that does not function correctly must proceed as follows:

  • Immediately inform by telephone or email, always through the distributor who has purchased our product, of the functioning of the product.
  • This communication must always be accompanied by the purchase invoice, in which the product that is malfunctioning and its date of issue can be seen and understood.
  • Later GOTE S.A. will send the RMA documentation to open the incident and the subsequent repair or replacement thereof, said documentation must be returned to GOTE S.A. fully completed. Below GOTE S.A. will return the documentation filled out with its RMA number and with the customer's acceptance to proceed with the shipment of the product to GOTE S.A.  The shipping cost of the product will be borne by the customer or distributor.
  • Once the product is at GOTE S.A., its operation will be analyzed; if it is not correct, it will be changed or repaired, returning it to the customer with shipping paid by GOTE S.A.

If the product is not found in the product portfolio at that time, GOTE S.A. reserves the right to change the product for one equivalent or with superior performance, and is not obliged to make any payment.

If the product does not malfunction after inspection, it will be returned to the customer with postage due or picked up by the customer at our facilities.

Products that present any type of external damage or damage caused by the environment that surrounded the equipment in its original installation will be exempt from warranty. These possible damages include:

  • Physical damage, such as falls, blows, breaks, improper use, installations and exposures in unsuitable environments,…
  • Electrical, products that do not receive adequate power for their correct operation, including excess harmonics, electrical noise, poor choice of power wiring section...
  • Manipulations on the product that are not appropriate or not carried out by GOTE S.A. personnel. such as customer repairs or product modifications.
  • Environmental damage, any type of damage caused to products due to environmental causes (floods, natural disasters, floods, leaks, etc.).

The guarantee will exclusively cover the value, by way of exchange or replacement, of the products purchased from GOTE S.A. under no circumstances will there be any costs arising from installation or uninstallation, including the costs of transporting the products.

Likewise, any financial compensation for improper functioning of the products supplied by GOTE S.A. is excluded. either due to damage caused or due to lack of service in the installation. Given the variety that may exist in these situations, GOTE S.A. excludes any responsibility or right in the event of any possible situation not mentioned in these warranty conditions.

The acceptance of covering a warranty and subsequent repair of the product does not indicate that the warranty begins again from said date; the date of purchase of the product at GOTE S.A. will always be taken as the warranty start date.
